Are You Going Through Foreclosure Because Of A Chronic Illness? You Are Not Alone.

I hope this video helps to calm some of the pain. Enjoy!

We are slowly saying goodbye to Summer. But not chronic pain, not the financial hardship, and not the physical losses that we endure because if it.

I recently read a post by Hinsley Ford that brought me to tears. Hinsley writes a blog titled The Oxygen Chronicles. I truly identify with where she is because I have been there. Hinsley's post are always exceptionally well written but this one-this one is so appropriate for this month. It was published on September 04, 2008 and is titled "A Quick Check In and Thoughts on Individual vs. Collective Grief".

As we strive to bring attention to the problems people suffering with chronic illness experience, the loss of our homes due to foreclosure is certainly at the top of that list.

I was fortunate enough to have family members who stepped in and saved my home. There are thousands of people who may not have that option. Not Hinsley Ford and maybe not you!

If you don't read another word this month, read Hinsley Ford's September 4th "Oxygen Chronicals".

Mc Kay, another beautiful video.
I enjoyed that small waterfall, it reminds us once again of the joy of creation.
Waiting for the next one...

Nothing can come close to love from family, McKay.

Speaking of love .... and VHS movies .....

The chair was in the room. Movie in Hollydale :-)

Thanks for keeping everything straight over in Hollydale! I feel better now.

Be well

More than once I have fallen flat on my face. Looking up to find the hand of a loved one .... "saved me" ~ many times

Eric you said a mouth full.

I am hoping that someone in Hinsley Ford's family steps forward and saves her.

Yes, I know of a few people living with this crap that are losing their homes.

I just wanted to let you know that a few times you've missspelled illiness and the hyperlink hasn't worked. I know I've done it myself with chronicchick, forgot a c.

Your words are great

Thank you Chronic Chick. It is these arthritic fingers. You would not believe how long it takes me to write a blog.

I certainly want my hyper link to work.

Again, thank you for all your help!

Some how, the fact that chronically ill people are caught up in this awful situation is escaping the media.

It is up to us to make it an important issue that cannot be ignored.

Hi McKay,

Your blog is looking great and it is so powerful. Thank you for turning me on to Hinsley's blog.

If you get the chance to purchase voice recognition software and a good headset/microphone it will be by-bye to most of your typing. I watched for a super sale on the software and the comfortable headset/mic was $35. It ended up being @ $100. I've blogged about it and am still in the process of finishing the series.

Peace & Blessings.

Hi Sherril

Thanks for the compliment and the information on the voice recognition equipment. I will look into it. My talking is certainly faster than my typing. It has to be a lot less painful.

I hope you find Hinsley's blog as interesting as I have. I think she is just wonderful.

Hinsley, it is always good to have you here.

I am glad that my readers are visiting your blog and I hope they continue to do so. You are a great writer.

Although you are struggling physically, emotionally and financially, you still find humor in your life. I suppose that is the only way we can survive. But you do it better than most.

Even more important, you are in trouble and need help. I hope that our blogging about it will draw attention to your situation and maybe just maybe the right person who can help you will come forward and do so.

I believe in the power of positive thoughts and energy. And I am sending them your way daily.

Hi sweetie,

This subject certainly deserves media attention!! Just as so many other situations in the lives of us Chronic Pain/Illness chicks/guys, is subject to much discrimination.

I hope that you are well and we will talk soon.

Your inspiration inspires me....

Shauna :-)

Shauna it is good to experience your presence here.

I know that I can count on you to help bring this horrendous situation to the fore front.

As life would have it, I am in tremendous pain and have been limited in my participate in the NATIONAL INVISIBLE CHRONIC ILLNESS AWARNESS WEEK!

It has been very successful and for that I am grateful.

However, this is just the beginning. During the entire month of September, The American Pain Foundation is also drawing attention to those of us who suffer with chronic pain.

If you are able, please stop in for a visit!!!

Be well
