"Lemonade" Is Awarded to "Living With A Chronic Illness"

We are honored beyond measure to have received the "Lemonade " award from The Chronic Chick Talk Blog. This award is given to blogs demonstrating a great attitude of gratitude. How nice is that?

In accepting this award, I must pay it forward by bestowing the honor on at least ten other blogs that I feel are living up to an attitude of gratitude. It was an easy decision for me.

And the award goes to;

Congrats to everyone! I think that award is like the saying "when life gives you lemons...make lemonade!" Having an attitude of gratitude just makes the task easier!

Thanks so much for including As the Mind Wanders in your list, McKay K. You are too kind.

As kids we were taught that when hardships and problems knock you down, you just get back up and keep moving. We were also taught that having a good sense of humor is always a big help, and laughing and hugging and helping each other through those hard times is the only way to go!

Kyle, your fortitude and sense of family values really shows on your blog.

I bookmarked it the first time I visited you.

When I returned on Monday to informed you of the award, and saw the CLICK FOR A FREE MAMOGRAM button, I knew I had made the right decision.

Be well

McKay K,
Thanks for the Lemonade Award. I'm quite taken aback since I've been blogging for such a short time. It makes me feel like what I have to say means something after all. I really appreciate the encouragement.
Continued Healing & Blessings,

PKH

Hello McKay,

Thank you so much for honoring me with the "Lemonade Award." Congratulations to the rest of the winners.

But by grace still go I.

Pamela, it just goes to show that it is not how long or how much but the importance of the content. You write from your heart and your blog is geared toward helping others.

We definitely need more of that.

Manchild, When you write, the words are almost poetic with a musical flow. You just write so well and your blog is extremely inspirational.

From what I have read, I know your new book "Stepping Out of Darkness" will be a great success.

Be well

Dear Mckay,

My apologise for the late reply.
Flood was happening in my city, Samarinda, from Friday, November 7th 2008 (Indonesian time) till now and overflow into my house. I feels the horrible days, moreover the electricity was turned off for three days.

Thank you so much for honoring me with the "Lemonade Award".

Tikno, You are definitely welcome.

I was aware of the flooding in Samarinda. I hope there was not too much damage to your home and that your family is safe.

Hopefully, knowing how much you are appreciated in the blogging community will bring a smile to your face.

Oh my Kindred Spirit,

Thank you so much for the award!! What is amazing is that I wrote a post a few weeks back or more called, "The Gratitude Attitude"....hmmmm..... ok now what will be tough is picking out 10 that have not been already mentioned by you!!

Ok, now tell this computer and tired non-geek how to get the pic and I will put it up ASAP. If you may have noticed, I've been away a bit...a LOT going on @ home.

Love to my best KS,

Shauna :-)
