SkyWatch Friday and Powerful Moments

On this very beautiful autumn morning in October, I remember standing on the top patio of my yard that over looks my house and feeling so grateful. Grateful for the opportunity to witness this brand new day. Gratitude continued to flood my entire being. Without thinking, my voice softly spoke;"Thank You."
I walked a few steps and took the above picture through a clump of trees. It closely resembles a heart. A heart saying; "Because I love you, you are always welcome." When I walk in my garden, that is what I feel, loved.

I sat there for a few minutes watching my universe continue to change. The deep blue sky with its orange and white clouds was transformed into the above photo.

Although the sun was burning its way into the morning sky, the area surrounding me felt soft, quiet. calm-and yet powerful.

In complete aw, I once again heard my voice say; "Thank you!"

Thank you for this day-this powerful moment .

Thank you for the good that is in my health and my heart.

Thank you for what I can do.

Mckay k,

All of your reading, exploration of new ideas, inquisitiveness, and extreme gratitude for all that you have despite your illnesses is on display here.

You have done an incredible amount of spiritual work. I don't mean religious. I mean spiritual. You have achieved a sense of peace...

With all of your illnesses, it's almost like you've found your way to the "eye of the storm", if that makes any sense?

On of my favorite musicians, Tori Amos, has these lyrics in one of her songs... "Well I found the secret to life... I found the secret to life... I'm okay when everything is not okay... I said I found the secret to life... Found the secret to life... I'm okay when everything is not okay... Is not okay..."

No matter what adversity you experience... you look for the silver lining, the positive, and the purpose in everything. That's something this world could use more of.

You are a unique, strong, insightful woman and you are helping many people!

Jeanne

P.S. It really does look like a heart. <3

Something about the sunrise and sunset. Can you imagine a life without breaks? By that, I mean having our days separated. A bad day can be left behing with the fresh new promise of a new day.

I was driving back from my last drop at work today wathing the sunset ... driving right into it. So thereputic for some reason!

It has been a wild week in Hollydale. Even Thanksfiving was very chaotic! Great food though, and it was nice to see family. I plan on sleeping through the "sunrise" tomorrow. (smile)

Love the photos, very artistic !!

Hello from Minnesota,
Eric

Bintang- I think the shot composed itself. It was only later that I saw the heart.

Thanks bukester, Greyscale, Leora, Kjpweb, Fishing guy and Chrome3d.

Jeanne, The eye of the storm, Interesting concept. I believe you may have something there. I like that analogy.

I listened to some of Tori Amos' music. She has a beautiful voice. I like the words you quoted; "the secret to life"

Jeanne I am so glad you said spiritual. When I was younger, I thought the two words were interchangeable.

Pamela, thanks for your complimentary and encouraging comment,

Speedcat, I cannot imagine a life without breaks in the day-the time we used to replenish our bodies and our minds.

As you mentioned it is a new day full of promises.

Sandra, I know that you are right. Together, one minute at a time, we will get through. Excellent!

Very beautiful shots. I especially love the one framed with the heart!

That is a great moment, soft and peaceful. Unfortunately, I rarely see that moment, because I worked at night (in the night entertainment business) and wake up after daylight.

Horsoon, It was a pleasant surprise when I saw it as well. Thanks for the visit and the comment.

Tikno, With today's economy, it is good to know that your job has not been affected. So, when you do awake, you can always come here and share the joy of beautiful sunrises and sunsets.

Be well

Thanks for the compliment on the pictures. It is nice to share my surroundings with the far away people I love.

The lack of your presence on the Internet is always cause for concerne. But, we all understand the importance of having incoming funds.
