Love Affirmations For the Chronically Ill

One of the hardest things for the chronically ill to do is to love one's self. We tend to concentrate on our arthritis pain or out fluctuating glucose levels. But, waking each day and saying positive affirmations, may improve your mental attitude about your physical health. A positive mental attitude will keep depression at bay.

Here are a few to start your day. When you think of others, write them down and began saying those through out your day as well. By the end of the year, you will be pleasantly surprised at the changes in you. Of Course, your changes will be noticeable long before that.

You are worth five minutes a day. Fill your world with positive thoughts. Thoughts become things!

BEFORE STARTING THE VIDEO, PLEASE TURN OFF THE MUSIC AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE.

Hi Pamela K H; Thanks for making me smile. I hope this video will inspire everyone who watches it to make their own affirmation video.

Positive affirmations just make you feel good. You find yourself smiling even if your day isn't going so well.

Keep finding life's little surprises!

Oh Jeanne you make me blush.

You offer a far-reaching inventory of aid to those of us who are chronically ill. A personal video should certainly be included in that inventory.

Thank you for your lovely reassuring commentary.

Be well

I have learned to do this myself thanks to the book called the secret and it is true showing gratitude and care to the little things have a huge impact on the one that is grateful :)

Empty Streets I like the movie and the book "The Secret" too. It has been instrumental to my path of awakening. It makes me happy to know it was a positive influence in your life as well.

Great advice for everyone here!

I am a firm believer in the connections of body and mind. I think that the benifits of positive thought are not only healthy, but they eminate from our eyes, words, and actions. The power of love can follow a chain of personal impacts flowing from one to another. Your blog is a fine conduit for such ideas!!
